This year’s jubilee European Congress of Local Governments is an event in which the STOP Obesity Partnership will actively participate. It will be held at the Golebiewski Hotel in Mikolajki on March 3-4.
On the first day of the Congress, at 11:30 am, we invite you to participate in an expert panel entitled “Local governments for the reduction of obesity – best practices”, hosted by Dr. Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, dean of the CKP of Lazarski University and director of the IZWOZ, and Marta Pawłowska, Chairwoman of the Presidium of the STOP Obesity Partnership, an expert in health promotion and disease prevention.
As part of the panel, we will discuss foreign and Polish best practices in obesity reduction, barriers to mobilization and implementation, as well as public-private partnerships as a mechanism for effective implementation of obesity reduction solutions in local government units.
