Today marked the launch of the Local Government Roundtable STOP OBESITY – a panel of experts from local government units that are key to planning and implementing public health measures.
Representatives of more than 90 local governments are participating in the online meeting, which is still ongoing – illustrating the awareness, as well as the readiness of local government units for a new quality in public health strategies, including, in particular, for the reduction of obesity among Poles.
After presenting the main goals of the STOP obesity strategy, the talks continue:
