Dr Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka awarded the “Patient in the Centre of Attention” prize

The 10th Vision of Health – Diagnosis and Future Congress has come to a close. The highlight of the event was the ceremonial presentation of the “Patient in the Centre of Attention” awards granted to individuals particularly dedicated to improving patients’ conditions, enhancing the quality of care, and increasing the comfort of life for those who are ill.

We are delighted to announce that among this year’s laureates was Dr Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, PhD in Economics, expert of the Partnership and Dean of the Postgraduate Education Centre at Lazarski University.

This distinction is a recognition of her consistent efforts toward systemic reform in healthcare, the promotion of prevention, and the patient-centred approach in health policy.

The other awardees included:

  • Katarzyna Kacperczyk, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Health,
  • Prof. Bartosz Karaszewski, MD, PhD, National Consultant in Neurology,
  • Dr Radosław Mądry, MD, President of the Polish Society of Gynecologic Oncology,
  • Małgorzata Piekarska, President of the Polish Association of People with Pulmonary Hypertension and Their Friends.
