On the occasion of Denmark’s Presidency of the EU in 2025, the Copenhagen Life Science Summit is taking place — a high-level meeting of key stakeholders in the European health ecosystem, including policymakers, representatives of academia, public health organizations, industry leaders, and patient organizations from the 27 EU Member States and beyond.
Together, we will explore how Europe can strengthen its position as a leading region in the field of medical and social sciences — enhancing competitiveness and stimulating cross-sectoral development of healthcare systems that deliver better outcomes for patients across Europe.
During the event, representatives of the Partnership will present the key assumptions of the Obesity Reduction Strategy, including the concept of the STOP OBESITY social ecosystem, as well as cross-sectoral and inter-ministerial actions for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of obesity as a chronic disease.
The Partnership will be represented by:
- Dr. Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka – Dean of the Postgraduate Education Centre at Lazarski University, Director of the Institute of Healthcare Management
- Marta Pawłowska, MBA – Chair of the Partnership Presidium

Participation in the Copenhagen Life Science Summit provides an opportunity to exchange experiences, gain best practices, and build international partnerships for public health and obesity reduction across Europe.
