On February 25, 2025, the inaugural meeting of the STOP OBESITY Scientific Roundtable was held at Lazarski University, bringing together representatives of major scientific societies, academia and prominent public health experts actively participating in the construction of the health care system.
The meeting was attended by dozens of academics from various specialties, and was chaired by Dr. Malgorzata Galazka-Sobotka, dean of the CKP of Lazarski University and director of the IZWOZ, and Marta Pawlowska, chairwoman of the Presidium of the STOP Obesity Partnership.
The overarching goal of the Team’s work is to bring together knowledge, experience and resources to raise the level of education and research to improve the effectiveness of obesity prevention, diagnosis and treatment of obesity disease.
The work of the constituted Team will be led by:
